Madeline Roa, long-time Sacramento Folk-rock performer needs nothing except her guitar and beautiful sing-song voice to gather her audience’s attention. Recently she can be seen performing with H-5 of Trunk of Funk; who performs with Crazy Ballhead and previously with Mr. P Chill and Kevin AKA Bones, playing the thumping-pumping sound of the Djombe.

Roa has been accompanied on-stage by many bands and solo acts, including Radical Love Frequency, Dre, Justin Farren, Crazy BallHead, 2Me and Zoo Human Project, all bands and solo acts from Sacramento.

Her voice is strong with tones of wisdom and strength trailing her mouth and onto her audience.

When Roa performs, her guitar and her voice are of the main concern teaching people the lessons of life brought to you by reason and respect for humankind.

Roa has also performed for the Oroville Music Festival and has had her song, “One of Those Days” on ‘regular’ rotation for Sacrament-based radio station 106.5 K.W.O.D.. As a single mother, Roa has participated in local outreach programs such as Rockin Moms Podcast; http://www.rockinmomspodcast.com/mediaplayers/player.aspx?podcastid=33590, summer ’07.
